Hello,

I really like working with your Houdini plugin.
From what I can tell, your Maya plugin has a smaller number of features / nodes.
What are your plans going forward? Do you plan to have the same features in Maya as you do in Houdini (Actors, Joints, Rigid Bodies, Tetra, Plumage, etc)
I would really love to be able to use them in Maya as well.

Hi David,

Yes, we are planning to keep exposing more and more features in the Maya plugin, until it has pretty much exactly the same feature set as our Houdini plugin.
It is hard to give a timeline, but we are aiming to make around 90% of the features available before the end of 2019.

Thank you very much. Now it's almost 2022. I'm looking forward to the functions of feathers and joints. I am your loyal fan and feel that "carbon" is very powerful. He made me realize many powerful effects that can only be seen in Houdini in Maya.

Hi,

Thank you for your Carbon support.

Yes there are still some features that have not made it to Carbon for Maya yet, but actually there are a number of features in Carbon for Maya that are not in the current Carbon for Houdini build, such as the Carbon Garment Processor and a number of other features. 
So its swings and roundabouts. 
At the end of the day we are driven by what the major customers are asking for.
