Hi

I was wondering if someone had figured out how to convert or analyze the MD presets for Carbon.
I am not too technical and find some of the presets in MD give a nice result and would love to be able to recreate them as close as possible.

I found this site here that show a lot of the MD presets, but I haven't been able to find anyplace that has Carbon presets I can use for similar fabrics.

Hi Jimmy,
Thanks for the request and sharing the MD preset links.
We have shied away from offering Carbon presets in the past as its also very dependent on the mesh resolution, size of the garments and further the overall look is very impacted by the structure of a garment (seams etc.). For animation features our customers have typically used a wide range of mesh/size. However now that we are offering a Maya plug-in that is appealing to a much wider audience and targeting fashion more, maybe we should offer some presets for a standard human size / and appropriate mesh resolution to help artists get started. We'll take a look at doing that over the coming months. Txs again Mike
