Hello ! I'm back with another issue haha

My render mesh seem to explode as soon as I apply the meshDeformer on it, I don't understand why, all the transforms and CVs are cleared, pivot is in the origin like all my other shapes. Maybe I'm missing something ?

I've attached a picture of what my mesh looks like when I connect it to the MeshDeformer

Thank you for your time !

Hi, you probably need to update the mapping between the deformer and the mesh. Try the update mapping button on the deformer.

Txs,

HI ! Thanks for your response :)

I forgot to mention that I've already updated the mapping and tried the others method, none work except if I put a big radius in smoothing mode but I lose all my original shape ...

Hi mhd,

Are you using all 3 inputs, i.e. Driver, Geometry, Driver Reference?
This looks like the geometry of the driver and driver reference do not match.
They need to have the same number of primitives in the same order.

If you have a reproducible you can share with us, that might help us debug your problem better.

Cheers,
Sebastian

Hello ! Sorry for the late response !

Unfortunately I'm not able to share the problematic mesh, but, I've found a workaround, I've cut my mesh in two part, since I needed to have sim only on the bottom part and it worked. Since the rendered mesh was already textured and rigged I couldn't change it to my needs for the cloths and had to work with it. The issue comes probably from some topology around the collar that was not that great and did not match the sim version I've made.

Thank you for your help !
